Recognising Lived Experience as Expertise: A Workshop on Inclusion in Research on Movement and Exploitation
We’re excited to share that we’re co-hosting an important event with the Human Trafficking Research Network (HTRN), with generous support from Clifford Chance.
Recognising Lived Experience as Expertise: A Workshop on Inclusion in Research on Movement and Exploitation
Join us online on the 6th June 2025 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM BST) for a workshop designed to explore how lived experience can be more effectively recognised as vital expertise in research and policy.
The event will explore how lived experience can be more effectively recognised and integrated as expertise in research and policy, particularly within the contexts of asylum, statelessness, human trafficking and Country of Origin Information (COI).
The day will include an expert panel and interactive breakout sessions; we’ll work together to craft a Call to Action that promotes inclusion, credibility, and recognition for individuals with lived experience. Chatham House rules will apply. Full programme to come.
