Stephanie Huber-Nagel is part of Asylos’ Board of Trustees. She has provided research and advocated on human rights and refugee issues since 2003. She co-founded Asylum Research Centre (ARC) in 2010 and its charitable arm, ARC Foundation, in 2016. Prior to that, Stephanie worked in a variety of roles for the UK-based Immigration Advisory Service, the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE), and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). She is currently working for Reporters Without Borders (RSF) Germany, where she provides emergency assistance to journalists in distress, supports fellowship programs, and explores humanitarian pathways to protection for at-risk media workers.
In her role as co-Director of ARC/ARC Foundation and as freelance consultant, Stephanie has provided COI research, policy and training support to Freedom from Torture, the Hungarian Helsinki Foundation, the Independent Advisory Group on Country Information (IAGCI), the Still Human Still Here Coalition, the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) and UNHCR.
