Alaikah Ahmed completed both the Bar (Called in 2024) and LLM in Human Rights from the Nottingham Trent University. Her dissertation addressed the breaches of non-refoulment through the mechanisms of the International Criminal Court. She had previously volunteered with the Support From Court and assisted with the Court Pilot Project in the Nottingham Family Court, and simultaneously with the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum on the Specialist Advice Team. She moved back to Bangladesh where she now works as a junior associate in public employment litigation, and also as a volunteer researcher for Asylos’ Asia Team.
