Julie Olson is a Research Volunteer in Asylos’ Americas Team. Since 2012, she has built her career in international migration, focusing on refugee and asylum law across roles in government, international NGOs, and, most recently, the United Nations. She holds a BA in Chemistry from Smith College and an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex. Fluent in English and Spanish, and with research-level skills in French, she currently resides in Mexico after six years living in Latin America.
