Stephanie Huber-Nagel is part of Asylos’ Board of Trustees. She has provided research and advocated on human rights and refugee issues since 2003. She co-founded Asylum Research Centre (ARC) in 2010 and its charitable arm, ARC Foundation, in 2016. Prior to that, Steph worked in a variety of roles for the UK-based Immigration Advisory Service, the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE), and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and until recently for Reporters Without Borders (RSF) Germany, where she provided emergency assistance to journalists in distress, supported fellowship programs, and explored humanitarian pathways to protection for at-risk media workers. Currently, Steph is a freelance consultant in the fields of asylum and migration with a particular focus on humanitarian and complementary pathways to protection.
