
Wasil holds a Master’s degree in Management of Development from the Netherlands and has over 15 years experience in managing and coordinating development projects. His work has included roles such as Project Director, Program Manager, Coordinator, Agri-Business Development Manager, and Field Assistant with World Bank–funded initiatives in the Justice Sector, Ministry of Economy, Mercy Corps, and IOM. He has volunteered with Asylos since 2016. Born a refugee in Pakistan, he completed his education there, starting from primary school through to university. He later returned to Afghanistan to contribute to the country’s rebuilding efforts. Sadly, following the collapse of Kabul, he was once again forced into displacement and now live as a refugee in Germany. He speaks Pashto, Dari, Urdu, English, and basic German.
