A message from our Co-Directors

In 2023, Asylos said farewell to Sophie Kloos, Director for the last seven years, and welcomed two new co-directors, Carolina Albuerne and Jo Pettitt, who are steering the organisation with a renewed vision for the future. Reflecting on a year marked by both challenges and successes, they reaffirmed Asylos’ commitment to defending the fundamental right to seek asylum and advancing fair, evidence-based processes.

Looking ahead

Asylos entered 2024 with a strengthened resolve to meet emerging COI needs. Building on 2023 achievements, we continued to advocate for vulnerable groups, produce high-quality research, and foster collaboration across international networks.

We invite you to explore our 2023 Annual Report and join us in our mission to ensure asylum decisions are fair and evidence-based.
